About:

Dr. Florian Scheible is a freelance documentary photographer and photojournalist based in Innsbruck and Berlin.

In his photography, he focuses on socio-political issues such as migration, climate, and social justice within Europe and at its borders. His work questions the impact of the European Union on its people and those who are excluded.

With a background in physics and a PhD in engineering, he uses photography to examine social and political realities. He studied at the LIK Academy in Vienna and is currently attending the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in Berlin.
